Whilst we appreciate that there are many larger issues facing the island and its residents, many of the club members and visitors (now approaching 200) have asked the Alderney Shooting Club (ASC) to comment on the candidates and their levels of support, or otherwise, for shooting sports and licensing in Alderney.
The ASC committee does not feel it appropriate to make any recommendations on election, however, in the interests of the shooting community it has offered all candidates the opportunity to respond to four key concerns of the club and the wider shooting community.
We will share these results in the near future once all candidates have had chance to consider our invitation and respond.
